In response to the famine in Gaza, and to show solidarity with Muslims facing increasing Islamophobia in the UK, we are encouraging our supporters (who are not already fasting) to fast for one day on Saturday 23 April 2024. At 5pm, there will be a short vigil at Elephant and Castle to honour those who have been killed in Gaza, followed by and Iftar at South Bank University Academy to raise money for the NEU/Save the Children Emergency Appeal.
