On Friday 09 February we marched from the Home Office in London to Downing Street, via the Department for Education. Our aims were to keep the children of Gaza in the public mind, and several of our attendees read the names of some of the 12,000 children killed in Gaza since October.
Among the speeches was a parent with friends and family in Palestine. The emotion in her voice as she spoke was as eloquent as her words
We were also marching in protest at the government’s Prevent policy, and how it is being used to stifle debate in schools. For more information on Prevent, click here.
